BOBBY HOPEWELL | PRESIDENT & CEO Mobile Health Resources Bobby J. Hopewell is president and chief executive officer of EMS Survey Team and Mobile Health
Resources. Additionally, Mr. Hopewell served from 2007 to 2019 as the 30th and longest serving mayor of the City of Kalamazoo, MI. Hopewell has 35 years of healthcare, leadership, and public service experience. He is a paramedic and has been a leader with three EMS agencies and an administrator for two Michigan health systems. Bobby was appointed by Michigan Governor Whitmer to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Executive Committee, and by Former Michigan Governor Snyder to the Michigan Community Corrections Board. He also serves as a co-founder and Lifetime Emeritus member of the Kalamazoo Foundation for Excellence. Hopewell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Service Administration from Siena Heights University and received his Master of Arts in Organizational Learning and Performance from Western Michigan University.
MINYA IRBY | AGENCY PRINCIPAL Cooper Irby Brewster Professional Services Minya Irby is the agency principal at Cooper Irby Brewster Professional Services, a commercial insurance agency headquartered in Detroit, MI. She is also founder and market manager of the Jefferson Chalmers Farmers Market, a 501(c)3 nonprofit designed to incubate micro agribusinesses and micro businesses to solve the problem of food
access in the community through art. She is the proud mother of two sons, Devon and Khalib; and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Detroit’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School. She loves working in her community and serving as a conduit for resources to residents within her community. Her family have been residents of the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood since 1946.
