How are Key State Agencies Taking Steps to Address Michigan's Housing Needs Banquet Rooms 1-8 Over the past several years, housing has been gathering momentum and recognition as a key issue for our state. Different approaches, new resources, more tools, and a first ever statewide housing plan have been brought to our communities and others. Representatives from the Michigan State Housing Development Association (MSHDA), the new Michigan Office of Rural Development (ORD), the State Land Bank, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) will share information about the Governor’s new statewide housing plan, and update us all on resources, fiscal recovery funds, programs, and partnership opportunities as it relates to housing and how this can benefit our communities.
