As the 101st Michigan Legislature begins its work, the League’s State & Federal Affairs team is continuing to advocate for local governments throughout the state. A large part of that advocacy is assisted by input from committee members on a wide range of topics. Rock Abboud, councilmember in the Village of Beverly Hills, believes that committee participation is a valuable element of being an effective advocate.
