CONGRATULATIONS! TO OUR 2022 AWARD RECIPIENTS

LEGISLATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD State Senator Roger Victory

Senator Roger Victory (R-Hudsonville) was elected to Michigan’s 30th Senate District, consisting of the entirety of Ottawa County, in 2018. Prior to that he served for six years in the Michigan House representing the 88th District. Victory chairs the Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee and serves as Assistant majority whip.

He also chairs the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development and Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government. Victory owns Victory Farms LLC, a year-round specialty crop producer, as well as Victory Sales LLC, a national produce distributor. Roger is an executive board member of the Michigan Vegetable Council and former president of the Ottawa County Farm Bureau. Also serves on the advisory board of the Ottawa County Careerline Tech Center. Victory graduated from Davenport University in 1989 with a degree in business management and from Michigan State University’s Great Lakes Leadership Academy.
